The giving of wedding rings comes from paganism, it originated in Babylon. The most ancient ring discovered there is in the shape of the eternal serpent. The image of the serpent biting its tail to form the circle of the ring is an ancient satanic symbol
(***satanic ouroboros). (Image Shown Below)
The same symbol is used by the Theosophy Cult. Satan as the serpent, that great dragon of Revelation 12, has by this symbol joined a man and a woman under his cult. The Most High is not the serpent symbol of any wedding ring, nor is he the symbol of the wedding ring in any fashion, which is why such behavior cannot be found written in the Old Testament or the New Testament of the bible. Nowhere will you ever find anyone following Christ or the Most High putting rings on each other fingers as a sign of being engaged or married. This is satantic idolatry, that in 860 AD,
Pope Gregory 1 decreed that as a required statement of nuptial intent, the groom to be had to give his intended or potential spouse an engagement ring to solidify his intent on marrying his spouse. Pope Gregory 1, also decreed that the ring in which the groom must give had to be of gold to signify financial sacrifice.
Question: The Most High doesn't say for us to give a ring, but yet man does, so who should we obey?Acts 4:19 - But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
We are to hearken unto the Most High's ways and follow the ordinances and statutes and commandments in which he setup from the beginning of the earth.Question: What did the Most High say a man should do before he get married?
Genesis 2:24 - Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Where in the scripture did the Most High say, therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall put a ring on his intended or potential spouse's finger, and they shall be one flesh?
Nowhere, that wasn't his decree for a man and woman to come together, man instituted that doctrine and belief and tried to pass it off as the godly thing to do. Why, because a ring is made out of gold and silver, which are highly valuable and marketable. So if a man is required to purchase a ring in order to show he's engaged or married, then there is a profit to be made off of the union of marriage.
In Psalm 115:4 it states - Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. What color are your rings, are they not silver and gold? Are they not idolatry? Man according to his own understanding, came up with the idea of giving rings as a sign, which in doing this has made the people idolatry worshippers because they worship that which is made by the hands of men.
The wedding ring is in the shape of a circle, because it is said that a circle means eternal or unending. In 1 Corinthians 7:39 it says - The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. So if the ring represents eternal or unending, then how can it apply to marriage if marriages are only valid until the man or woman dies? It cannot apply, because marriages are not eternal or unending thats false doctrine that came from the Egyptians, thats not in compliance with the scriptures. So the meaning of the ring is totally false and is a false token of showing one's intent to marry, so the phrase with this ring I thee wed, should say with this ring, I do lie to wed you. Conception between man and woman is a symbol of the union the Most High established between man and woman, which is marriage. The order in which the home is ran by, is also a symbol of the union the Most High established between man and woman, with the man being the head of the house and providing for his wife, just as Christ provided for the Israel. So this is your symbol of showing your married, when you are following the ordinances outlined in the word of the Most High in regards to marriage, when you bring in objects such as a ring to be a representive, of your commitment towards your spouse, it is no longer a union established by the Most High. When a ring is made to join two people, God is CAST OUT and replaced by a piece of jewelry. This is exactly what has happened with the use of the wedding ring, false doctrine is believed and the use of wedding rings is totally idolatry worship. Marriage in honored in the home, and is symbolized by the way one speaks and conducts themselves, it is not symbolized by Satanic Pagan witchcraft of ring giving. A ring didn't join a man and a woman together, so how can it keep a man and a woman together? It cannot, the power of the Most High is the only thing that can keep a marriage together because it was him who established the union of marriage.
The third finger or fourth finger has no special nerve to the heart as the Egyptians believed, neither is there any importance of putting the ring on the left hand because it's closer to the heart, thats also false doctrine of man and not the Most High.
Question: Who joined man and woman together, was it a ring?Mark 10:9 - What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Where did it say what therefore a ring hath joined together? Nowhere, wedding rings are not biblical they are satanic pagan idolatry worship. Rings replace the Most High as being the center and focal point of the union of marriage, they are required before a man and a woman comes together, which is not what God hath commanded.
Question: They say a ring shows their love toward their partner, is that biblical at all?2 John 1:6 - And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
Where did the epistle say, and this is love, that we wear our wedding rings? Nowhere, folks this doctrine is not biblical a ring doesn't show your love toward your spouse, no man or woman has ever been commiting adultery and said, hold up baby let me take off my wedding ring first. lolQuestion: What was the message that was spoken in the beginning?1 John 3:11 - For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
Where did the epistle say this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should show our love by giving a wedding ring? lol Nowhere, so who gave you the message you heard that a ring shows your love? Wakeup, a fool gave it to you!Question: What was one of the things the Most High took from women because they were haughty?Isaiah 3:21 - The rings, and nose jewels,
The Most High took rings from women, so how can a man who know the truth, go and give her one? He can't unless he a sinner of the world.Let's Examine Factual Marriages According To The Bible!Question: What should we hold fast to, meaning what traditions should we follow and keep?
2 Thessalonians 2:15 - Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
The epistle said stand fast, and hold the traditions, meaning observe and keep, the traditions that we have been taught, according to the bible. So let's look at some biblical marriages, and see whether or not rings were given, and what it shows is what we must hold fast to and keep as tradition.Adam & Eve
Genesis 2:22 - And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
Where was the engagement ring the Most High gave Adam to give unto Eve? Didn't have one, the Most High brought her unto the man, as he saw fit.Genesis 2:24 - Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Where in the scripture did the Most High say, therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall put a ring on his intended or potential spouse's finger, and they shall be one flesh? Nowhere he never said that!
Genesis 2:25 - And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
Now if they were both naked, the man and his wife, then how could there have been a ring upon either one of their fingers? It wasn't, Adam and Eve didn't have wedding rings the Most High never said they had to have them in order to be man and wife.Abraham and Sarah
Genesis 11:29 - And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.
Where in the scripture did it say Abram and Nahor took engagement rings and put them upon Sarai and Milcah's fingers? Nowhere did it say that Abraham and Sarah had wedding rings, nor Nahor and Milcah weddings aren't biblical.Isaac and RebekahGenesis 24:67 - And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mother's death.
Where in the scripture did it say Isaac put a ring on Rebekah's finger, and she became his wife? Nowhere, because a ring didn't join them together, so therefore a ring is not going to keep them together. Isaac and Rebekah had no wedding rings, Isaac wasn't comforted by no ring, he was comforted by a woman.Jacob and Leah and Rachel
Genesis 29:21 - And Jacob said unto Laban, Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in unto her.Genesis 29:23 - And it came to pass in the evening, that he took Leah his daughter, and brought her to him; and he went in unto her.
Where in the scriptures did it say Jacob put a ring on Leah's finger? Nowhere rings are man's idolatry doctrine. Jacob neither put a ring on Rachel's finger either. So Jacob and Leah and Rachel didn't have wedding rings either.Joseph and AsenathGenesis 41:45 - And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.
Where in the scripture did it say Jospeh put a ring on Asenath's finger? Nowhere again this ring doctrine is of man and not Christ.David and Michal1 Samuel 18:27 - Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.
Where did the scripture say and Saul gave him engagement rings in order to wife his daughter? Again it's not written, because the giving of rings is not biblical but instead is man's philosophy and doctrine.Joseph and MaryMatthew 1:18 - Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
Mary was espoused to Joseph, in which espoused means promised to be married unto him, so before they had actually consumated their marriage, Mary was engaged to Joseph without a ring. So how is it that today in order to get engaged, one needs a ring? Simple, man is money hungry and anywhere he sees fit to make a profit, he will exercise his authority over the people, just like no where in the bible was anyone required to have a license in order to get married, this stuff is not biblical folks it's all the philosophy and doctrine of men. Christ warned in Matthew 24:4 to - And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. Christ warned us to not let no man deceive us, which many have been deceived into believing in this doctrine of weddings rings and marriage license in which man instituted. Where was Moses ring at for his wife? Where was Noah's ring at for his wife? Where was Hosea's ring at for his wife? Where was Peter's ring at for his wife? Where was Solomon rings at for his wives? Where was Christ ring at for the church? Nowhere, the tradition of ring giving is not of the Most High but is a tradition of men. The covenant commitment made with the Most High was there symbolic token of identifying they were married, not an object made by the hands of man.
Question: Is the Most High in the objects made by the hands of men?Acts 17:24 - God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
The Most High made everything thats in the world, therefore rings were included but nowhere do you find anyone who got married in the bible ever giving a ring as a token of their love that identifies their marriage. Marriage is a union that the Most High joined together, without a ring created he this institution. So if the Most High doesn't dwell in the things made by the hands of men, then how can a man and woman say they joined together by the Most High, if the object that links them together is made by the hands of men? One of them things that make you go hmmmm? The Most High doesn't need a ring to join a man and woman together, man does because he's wicked!
Question: So how is the Most High a witness between a man and a woman's marriage?Malachi 2:14 - Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.
The Most High is a witness between a man and a woman's marriage, by the covenant vows made unto him, thats how he recognizes them as husband and wife, a ring he doesn't identify as being a token object of a union between a man and a woman. Wedding traditions today are not according to biblical weddings and standards set by the Most High, instead they have been watered down with the tradition of men who have to have graven images and molten objects as tokens of affection towards those whom they love.
In Isaiah 3:21 - The rings, and nose jewels, you find out that rings the Most High actually took away from women because of their haughtiness, so how can a man present a woman with a ring if she is not suppose to have one according to the word of the Most High? Again, wedding rings are not biblical they are Satanic Pagan Idolatry objects that should not be worn by believers in Christ. Nowhere in the bible were they ever given as you have been shown.
Question: So in closing what should the people know?John 8:32 - And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
You just been witness to the truth, now should be free.
